Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate and timely dispatches, including product information, delivery locations, and customer requirements.
- Assign drivers' work for the next day using a seniority-based system.
- Notify drivers of their loads for the next day.
- Verify and correct dispatch errors, and ensure all necessary documents are completed and accurate.
- Provide backup support to the dispatcher during lunch hours and as needed.
- Responsible for scanning and processing documents, including cleaning certificates and pressure test certificates.
- Manage and update orders and spreadsheets for Invista, including tank numbers and depot information.
- 2-3 years of customer service experience in a transportation or logistics industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dispatch experience is desired but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills and professional telephone etiquette.
- Organizational skills, ability to multitask, and problem-solving skills.
- Computer and data entry skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with email system communications.
- Punctuality and dependability.
- Weekly pay.
