The University of Iowa is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Leader to join our team. As an advanced nurse leader and clinician, you will be responsible for patient care outcomes through the assimilation and application of evidence-based information to design, implement, and evaluate patient care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead clinical care delivery within a healthcare setting
* Provide and manage care for individuals and cohorts of patients
* Design, implement, and evaluate patient care by coordinating, delegating, and supervising the care provided by the healthcare team
* Lead and support a culture of evidence-based practice and research
* Implement effective decision making and productively manage change

**Requirements:**

* Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing required
* Current, valid license to practice nursing in Iowa
* Considerable clinical experience (minimum 5 years) in pediatric critical care and pediatric cardiovascular ICU experience (minimum 3 years)
* Demonstrates knowledge and experience with staff education and development, evidence-based practice, outcomes-based practice and quality improvement
* Demonstrates strong leadership skills, including analytical thinking, problem-solving, self-starter, and motivated

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience working in a large academic medical center
* Certification in Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) or PALS Instructor Certified
* Experience with nursing research and creating/managing microsystems of care
