Office of the Registrar
The University of St. Thomas seeks a skilled Enrollment Specialist to join its Office of the Registrar. This role will play a vital part in meeting the needs of the campus community by performing essential duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Process transcript and enrollment/degree verification requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain student records, ensuring proper filing, retention, and accessibility.
- Manage batch enrollments for new and current students in various academic programs.
- Process athletic eligibility certifications in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations.
- Assist the Senior Assistant Registrar with scheduling, student issues, and requests as needed.
- Monitor data check queries and correct issues in miscellaneous student and program data upon request.
- Provide backup support for the front counter.
- Assist with graduation preparation and activities.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a college or university Registrar's office, with a focus on enrollment duties.
- Previous experience with data reporting and query development.
- Excellent software skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional 2010 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access), PeopleSoft Student Information System, Slate CRM, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated writing and communication skills.
- A strong customer service orientation is essential for success in this role.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with effective organization skills and attention to detail.
- Results-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
