About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Power Systems Engineering Intern to join our team at Electric Power Engineers. As a Power Systems Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform network-wide steady-state and short-circuit studies
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts, including development of Python scripts
  • Work closely with a mentor to learn the day-to-day activities of a power systems engineer
Requirements
  • Completion of, or current enrollment in, a bachelor's degree program with a major in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
  • Completion of, or current enrollment in, power systems fundamentals class(es) (strongly preferred)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
