Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist II to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine to complex diagnostic CT procedures, including common and special CT exams of high difficulty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including CT scans, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and special CT procedures, including sterile technique.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, adhering to radiation safety standards and guidelines established by governing agencies.
  • Mentor and educate CT Technologist I and students in the department, promoting a positive and constructive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure seamless communication and comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below.
  • Three years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • ARRT-R, ARRT-THR, CNMT, ARRT-CT, CMRT, or CMRT-Temp certification, and BLS certification.
