Job Summary

Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead CT Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients of all ages, from infants to adults, using a variety of protocols and techniques.
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to staff members on CT scan procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • ARRT-R certification in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT-CT certification in Computed Tomography.
  • 2+ years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of CT scan protocols and procedures.
