Job Summary

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic computed tomography (CT) procedures, including common and special CT exams of moderate complexity. You will work closely with physicians to provide direct assistance during diagnostic and special procedures, ensuring exceptional patient care and adhering to radiation standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including CT exams, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring proper sterile technique and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal imaging equipment performance and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and address patient needs, ensuring timely and effective care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
  • Current certification in Radiography (ARRT (R)) or Radiation Therapy (ARRT (T)) or Nuclear Medicine (ARRT (N)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (CNMT).
  • Current certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT (CT)) within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 or more years of experience in CT or related field.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety standards and guidelines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
