Job Summary

As a Packaging Associate at Ascend Wellness Holdings, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in packaging cannabis products accurately and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities
  • Product Packaging: Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Organizational Skills: Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills, and Windows-based operating software.
  • Time Management: Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.
  • Sanitation and Cleanup: Sanitize and clean all processing areas throughout the day.
  • Assistance: Assist with the production line, load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies, fill and package products for delivery, and record data.

Requirements
  • Organizational Ability: Well-organized and ability to keep deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Works well with all peers.
  • Time-Management Skills: Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Technical Skills: Basic Excel, Word, and general computer knowledge.
  • Physical Demands: Fast, efficient, nimble.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Full knowledge of all applicable law, regulations, and requirements to keep the facility at 100% compliance at all times, including being up to date on any changes to current applicable laws/regulations.
  • Cannabis Industry Knowledge: Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
  • Registration: Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation.
  • Communication Skills: Must have excellent organization and time management skills, must be focused, pay close attention to detail, must be able to internalize training and follow instructions, and must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
