Supportive Care and Palliative Medicine Nurse Practitioner

UPMC in Central PA is seeking a certified registered nurse practitioner to join the Supportive Care and Palliative Medicine program. This role will provide inpatient and outpatient palliative medicine to patients with serious, chronic illness at Harrisburg Hospital, Community Osteopathic Hospital, and West Shore Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pain and non-pain symptom management and advanced palliative care for patients
  • Actively identify opportunities to improve the patient and family care experience
  • Improve the effectiveness of resources as used in management of symptoms, complex chronic medical and social issues
Requirements:
  • Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Masters of Science in Nursing and ANA certification desirable
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
