Key Responsibilities- Transaction Processing: Redeem tickets for cash, process checks and credit card advances, and redeem coupons.
- Cash Management: Maintain a balanced cash drawer, make exchanges with the vault when necessary, and keep an accurate tracking of all funds received and distributed.
- Guest Service: Provide change and break down bills, stay aware of indications for counterfeit currency, and check for possible false bills during all transactions.
- Departmental Support: Prepare, issue, collect, and reconcile department cash drawers, supervise, issue, and check the issuance of Player Club cards, and verify guest's identification according to policy.
- Technical Skills: Operate computer, credit card processing equipment, coin sorting and wrapping machines, and other cashier equipment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.
- ATM/Kiosk Management: Monitor, maintain, conduct fills, drops, and balances ATM/Kiosk.
- Currency Management: Prepare currency for bank deposit and accept and verify currency transferred to the vault from armored car deliveries.
- Guest Dispute Resolution: Resolve guest disputes regarding player club promotions and financial transactions with or without direction from supervisory staff.
- Compliance: Stay knowledgeable on current AML and Title 31 requirements and ensure all necessary information is obtained and tracked appropriately.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and protect private and proprietary information.
- Physical Demands: Work physically onsite, interact personally with guests and others, and maintain a strong attendance record.
- Licensing: Maintain appropriate Gaming License.
- Experience: One to two years of Cash Handling and Guest Service experience preferred.
- Skills: Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner, ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, ability to work independently and make decisions while unsupervised, and ability to effectively use a computer including Microsoft Office and other job-specific software.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for a period of 8-12 hours during a shift, and perform frequent pushing, bending, twisting, kneeling, and stooping.
