Automotive Equipment Operator

Detroit Quality Staffing LLC is a leading provider of transportation services, and we are seeking a highly skilled CDL Class A Driver to join our team. As an Automotive Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for transporting automotive equipment to and from a local manufacturing plant in a safe and efficient manner.
Estimated Salary: $48,000 - $60,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and hourly rate of $24-$26 per hour.
About the Job:
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently and have excellent driving skills. Our drivers are home daily, and we offer a competitive salary package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 53-foot tractor trailer
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with the appropriate endorsements (tanker, manual transmission, etc.)
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus
Working Hours:
A Crew: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
B Crew: Tuesday-Friday 6:00pm-4:30am
C Crew: Friday/Saturday 6:00am-4:30pm Sunday/Monday 6:00pm-4:30am
