About the Company

Montgomery Automotive Group Dealerships is a leading group of automotive dealerships with a long history of excellence in the industry.

We are currently seeking experienced Automotive Technologists to join our team. As an Automotive Technologist, you will be responsible for completing basic maintenance services such as engine repair, transmission repair, and other vehicle maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry and be able to stand, lift, and be on their feet for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and Repair Automotive Systems: Able to diagnose and repair complex automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, air conditioning, etc.
  • Complete Service and Repair Assignments: Completes service and repair assignments efficiently, safely and correctly, to pass quality inspections set forth by dealership quality standards.
  • Comply with Safety Policies: Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate directly with service advisors and foremen regarding the status of the service work.
  • Continuously Learn: Continuously learn new technical information and techniques.
  • Other Duties: Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of automotive technician/mechanic experience.

Required Skills

  • Team-Oriented: Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Working Knowledge: Working knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.).
  • Strong Automotive Knowledge: Strong automotive knowledge.
  • Maintains Sufficient Tools: Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools in good working order.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license.

Compensation Package

Pay Range: $50,000 - $130,000 per year
