Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years in a dynamic, full-service dining establishment.
  • At least 2 years in a Sous Chef or similar kitchen leadership role.

  • Must possess flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedule adjustments may be required and are subject to approval by the Culinary Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all operational policies and procedures, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and employee documentation.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with guests, staff, suppliers, and management.
  • Manage labor resources in accordance with company standards, ensuring appropriate staffing levels; oversee daily payroll approvals.
  • Review and monitor financial performance daily, including food cost tracking, and collaborate with the Executive Chef on managing expenses, labor, and overall revenue.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality and hold suppliers accountable for product delivery, notifying the Purchasing team of any vendor-related issues.
  • Perform administrative duties such as opening and closing procedures, maintaining kitchen supplies, and managing inventory.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to all hourly staff, with the ability to step into any front-of-house position as needed.
