Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Anchor Paper Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and office staff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective supervision of paperwork flow, leading the warehouse and office staff, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the processing of inbound paperwork and ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Manage the storage and retention of warehouse shipping and receiving documents.
  • Review and manage bin orders, highlighting important customer requirements and ensuring accurate shipping and processing.
  • Supervise warehouse office staff in the accurate processing of inbound functions in CSD.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Purchasing, City Desk, and Inventory Control to resolve issues and work with Warehouse Management to resolve open issues.
  • Supervise the coordination of couriers for on-time deliveries and manage the check-in of drivers and processing of paperwork.
  • Actively identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Organize and plan afternoon deliveries, including pre-routing for the following day's deliveries.
  • Supervise the processing of parcel shipments and generate BOLs for out-of-town trucks.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and lead effectively with other departments.
  • Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks, with adaptability to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Education and Benefits:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in warehouse management or logistics a plus.
