Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at CPC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our inventory, directing material flow, and developing strategies for storage, put-away, and replenishment of manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory levels and cycle counts.
    • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Material Flow and Logistics
    • Direct and monitor material flow to ensure an adequate supply of materials and supplies for manufacturing and customer orders.
    • Develop and implement efficient material handling and transportation processes.
  • Warehouse Operations
    • Develop and implement effective warehouse layout and design to maximize efficiency and productivity.
    • Implement and manage daily management tools for planning, performance tracking, and problem-solving.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and efficiency gains.
    • Develop and implement robust and optimized processes for picking and shipping customer orders and production orders.
  • Leadership and Communication
    • Communicate expectations and provide feedback to team members through coaching, performance reviews, and training.
    • Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the acquisition of accurate, relevant, and timely information.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Maintain a safe and orderly working environment and ensure that work and safety procedures are followed.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations.
    • Minimum of 6 years of direct warehouse leadership experience.
  • Skills
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other analytic tools.
    • Knowledge of continuous improvement with emphasis on waste reduction techniques using the Six Sigma tools of 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, lead time reduction, and visual control management.
