Job Description

Job Title: Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Specialist to oversee construction projects and ensure compliance with building codes and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and quality control, with experience in developing and implementing quality control standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control standards and procedures tailored to construction projects.
  • Inspect and monitor construction activities on-site to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality control measures are implemented at every stage of construction.
  • Review construction materials to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage the testing of materials for strength and adherence to project specifications.
  • Facilitate pre-construction meetings to discuss quality control practices and expectations with subcontractors and project team members.
  • Investigate customer complaints related to construction quality, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of quality control equipment for accurate measurements and testing results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related engineering field.
  • QC certifications are a plus.
