Your Daily Responsibilities...

As a seasonal Tax Associate at H&R Block, you will benefit from comprehensive training and support from our experienced team. You may also have the chance to earn additional compensation based on your performance.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline
  • Prior experience in customer service or retail settings
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, with potential for up to 40 hours during peak periods

Your Contributions Will Include...
  • Conducting tax consultations with clients through various communication methods
  • Preparing accurate and comprehensive tax returns
  • Driving business growth and enhancing client retention while offering additional services
  • Providing IRS support to clients
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve office objectives
  • Expanding your tax knowledge and expertise
Your Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Comfortable using virtual communication tools
  • Strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and in writing
  • Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
