Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Systems Analyst to join our team at Dartmouth Health. As a key member of our Information Systems department, you will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Pharmacy and Medication systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis functions to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing Pharmacy and Medication systems.
  • Provide project management support for duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Act as a liaison with other IS teams and business partners, maintaining project tracking information.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of technical applications and operational details, workflows, and how applications are used in the department.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and documentation, development, testing, and follow-up evaluation of system design and projects.
  • Assist departments in applications system management functions, developing a system to ensure the effective maintenance of security for all supported applications.
  • Co-lead projects associated with applications, communicating technical updates to the team.
  • Provide second and third-level support, including maintenance activities, independently triaging and resolving level 1 and level 2 support issues.
  • Offer training and assistance to team members, participating in on-call rotations and project work requiring off-hours, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with three years of relevant work experience or the equivalent.
  • Organizational, analytical, and self-motivational skills are essential.
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and internal customers.
  • Ability to make decisions independently, working within a team environment to provide support to the department.
  • Project management and application testing skills are desirable.
  • Vendor application certification or proficiency is required for applicable positions.
