Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Estimator to join our team at Sports Venue Padding, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and assessing specific projects to ensure accurate cost estimates and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Evaluation: Review and analyze project proposals, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements and potential risks.
  • Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with project teams to develop project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate project status and progress to project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a construction estimator or in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Certifications: Certification in project management or construction estimating is highly desirable.
