Customer Service Representative for a Multi-Specialty Healthcare Organization

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Tri-State region. As a key member of our patient services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for patients and families.

Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service to patients and families, responding to their needs and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
- Greet and register patients in a timely and courteous fashion, verifying demographic and insurance information.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, rescheduling as needed, and communicating with providers and staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Process payments from patients, issue receipts, and post payment data in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient demographics, insurance information, and financial data.
- Collaborate with the care team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement process changes to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or healthcare preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with electronic health records and scheduling systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a flexible schedule and adapting to changing priorities.
- Competitive salary range: $16.00 - $28.27 per hour (dependent on location and experience).
