We are seeking a compassionate and supportive Residential Skill Builder to join our team at Meridian Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a family atmosphere in a homelike environment to help residents retain, maintain, and learn daily living skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents in acquiring Activities of Daily Living skills and social skills in individual and group settings
  • Assess and monitor residents' behaviors and intervene as appropriate
  • Communicate effectively with residents, house staff, and other Center staff
  • Assist residents in menu planning and grocery shopping
  • Task assignments, supervision, and training of residents
  • Crisis intervention and medication packaging
  • Transporting residents for general outings and appointments
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months paid behavioral healthcare experience or equivalent college coursework
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
  • Commitment to providing individual attention to help clients achieve mental, emotional, and physical well-being
