Key Responsibilities:- Grow residential sales by developing a territory sales plan and calling on customers to generate new business and achieve sales goals.
- Promote all products and services available in the assigned area and accurately prepare and submit proposals to existing and potential new customers.
- Collaborate with the trusted advisor team to generate and close leads, and develop relationships with builders, remodelers, neighborhood groups, and realtors to identify potential new business opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale, and maintain harmonious relationships with other departments to ensure consistent and excellent service.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest heating equipment technology by interacting with the service department, suppliers, and attending seminars, trade shows, etc.
- Participate in home shows, consumer energy training seminars, and other community activities to identify new customer opportunities.
- Minimum of two years of previous sales experience or a combination of sales and petroleum-related experience.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, high initiative, and strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and math skills.
- Ability and willingness to make cold calls, creativity, strong presentation skills, and follow-up on commitments.
- Organizational and time management skills, and ability to build relationships.
