About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager in Training to join our team at Insomnia Cookies. As a Store Manager in Training, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and train a team of 2-5 staff members to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the store, including inventory management, scheduling, and ordering.
- Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires and provide feedback to the Store Ops Manager.
- Support the Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling.
- Hold staff accountable to Insomnia Cookies' standards, including baking, uniform, and company policies.
- Upsell and provide excellent customer service to drive sales growth.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or retail store.
- Prior experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff.
- Prior Point of Sale (POS) systems experience.
- Ability to utilize MS Office, Word, and our Applicant Tracking System.
- Ability to work a 4-5 day work week and 1-2 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal eligibility for employment in the United States.
