Job Title: Store Operations Assistant

At Burberry, we're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory control, including receiving and handling stock orders from the hub or warehouse, and ensuring accuracy of products received.
  • Support the sales team with retrieving stock in a timely manner, including Omnichannel and stock pullback.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized back of house area, compliant with Retail Operations and Standards.
  • Conduct quality control on all products and report any issues to the store lead.
  • Support the aftersales process, including alterations, repairs, and personalization, to elevate the client experience.
  • Ensure all stockroom equipment is working and fully operational, and report any concerns through our internal systems.
  • Perform ad hoc administration tasks, including answering telephone calls, responding to customer service inquiries, and ordering stationery and supermarket supplies.
  • Support store management with events, visual merchandising, stock taking, and other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Intermediate computer skills in core Microsoft software.
  • Previous experience with SAP is desirable.
  • Ability to work well in a team and in a busy store environment.
