Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct continuous improvement reviews to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with management to analyze production runs and suggest enhancements to improve productivity and quality.
  • Develop and manage production schedules, making necessary adjustments as required to meet customer demands.
  • Integrate new customer orders into the production workflow efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Identify and minimize scrap levels to meet performance targets and reduce costs.
  • Maintain the proper functioning of mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Work closely with internal departments such as HR, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee staffing requirements as needed, ensuring adequate resources to meet production demands.
  • Analyze performance against standards and budget, implementing corrective measures as necessary to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure readiness for Plant and food safety audits, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive teamwork and goal achievement within the department, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Enforce safety standards and policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5-7 years of manufacturing experience with supervisory responsibilities, preferably in the baking industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and SAP inventory systems, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in the baking industry is highly desirable, with hands-on experience with dough, sheeting, and freezer operations preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret documents effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Willingness to travel when needed, with a flexible attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
