Help Desk Specialist Role Overview

The Help Desk Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for providing technical support to our users. As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues, and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving these issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer systems and software
  • Escalate complex issues to the next level of support
  • Document all support cases

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a help desk role
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and common software applications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with SolarWinds products, such as SolarWinds Web Help Desk, SolarWinds Service Desk, and SolarWinds Dameware Remote Support
