Help Desk Specialist Role Overview
The Help Desk Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for providing technical support to our users. As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues, and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving these issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer systems and software
- Escalate complex issues to the next level of support
- Document all support cases
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a help desk role
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and common software applications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with SolarWinds products, such as SolarWinds Web Help Desk, SolarWinds Service Desk, and SolarWinds Dameware Remote Support
