Job Summary:

The Patient Care Assistant will support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, ensuring patient safety and dignity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and maintaining patient safety
  • Ensuring consistent delivery of the schedule/program
  • Safeguarding the dignity and respect of patients and guests

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma
  • Driver's License with a favorable Motor Vehicle Report
  • Proof of Insurance
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric or healthcare facility
  • Previous direct patient care experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients
