Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Conduit Assembler to join our team at Powell Industries. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for installing and assembling electrical conduit systems, ensuring high-quality products that meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduit Installation: Install electrical conduit systems, including thick and thin wall conduit, in accordance with engineering prints and specifications.
  • Wiring and Cabling: Perform point-to-point wiring and install communication cables, transformer cables, and other electrical components.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test conduit systems to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with assembly and wiring departments to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve minor project issues, and work with engineering staff to resolve drawing discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, and 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Experience: Previous conduit experience with both thick and thin wall conduit, and a basic command of the English language.
  • Skills: Basic mathematical skills, mechanical knowledge, and ability to read and interpret prints.
