Job Summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Case Manager to join our team. As a Pharmacy Case Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and caregivers throughout their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between patients, caregivers, medical professionals, and internal/external matrix partners.
  • Assist patients/caregivers as appropriate to function as a patient advocate, educator, and single point of contact.
  • Field incoming phone calls, triage, and route to the appropriate team for further action.
  • Provide scripted information on reliable sources of information through various resources available.
  • Assess patient needs, match with appropriate resources, and provide welcome calls with patient support materials and resources.
  • Adhere to compliance standards, assess patient barriers, and refer to aligned resources.
  • Identify closest SDOH resource outlet, assist in scheduling, and conduct benefit investigations and prior authorizations.
  • Provide updates, partner with team members, and ensure timely patient support.

Requirements
  • One year pharmacy technician experience.
  • Licensed in Missouri or eligible to obtain a MO license.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' experience in healthcare practice management or patient services setting.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Patient support and access with call center experience.
  • Patient assistance, reimbursement, and/or oncology experience.
  • Medical coding, coverage, policy, and payment experience strongly preferred.
