About the Role

The Cannon Company Defunct is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Client Leadership Position to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing client leadership within an office or market to build and maintain strategic long-term relationships with targeted clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Leadership: Lead, engage, and partner with clients on billable project-specific work, fostering strong long-term client relationships, driving successful project outcomes, and financial success, while creating opportunities for future engagements.
  • Top Line Growth: Develop new net signed fee opportunities for our markets, practices, and service lines. Lead and actively pursue new target clients, and develop new business with existing clients through the successful implementation of project opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams and engage with the practice to advance the firm, the office, the market, and our services. Work collaboratively within our SFMO culture to advance and support high-performing teams focused on delivering high-quality service and innovative design solutions to our clients.
Areas of Focus
  • Client Leadership: Responsible for the leadership and growth of client relationships within an office or market. Must be a self-starter and an entrepreneurial person with the ability to lead clients and client teams.
  • Top Line Development: Provide new net signed fee opportunities through the proactive identification, leadership, and pursuit of new target clients. Develop new business by securing direct select, repeat business, and additional services with our existing clients.
  • Team Leadership Skills: Proactively develop and lead collaborative project teams. Build and lead diverse and inclusive teams capable of both winning and executing transformational solutions that differentiate the firm and add value for our clients.
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop an understanding of the business, operations, and process needs of the client as well as the resulting market solutions. Bring together a comprehensive team of experts and thought leaders within The Cannon Company Defunct focused on executing creative, state-of-the-art solutions.
  • Bottom Line Growth: Work with the Business Practice Leader and Office Market Leader to ensure our firm's business practices, goals, and bottom-line initiatives are successfully implemented.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and grow emerging professionals. Provide leadership in establishing an environment that encourages leadership, integrity, humility, respect, and responsibility, along with collaboration, experimentation, innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
About Your Qualifications

Must have at least 12 years of experience in the S&T Market, preferably working in the A/E/I industry, with a proven track record of client and team leadership. Bachelor degree in a relevant field required. Current Registration/Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering preferred. Must have client leadership experience within an office or a market, with multiple client relationships. Must have experience focused on developing new opportunities and building long-term relationships with both new target and existing clients. Strong communication and leadership skills required. Must possess business acumen and proven ability to execute strategy. Must have the professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully. Some travel required.
