Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist nurses with various basic care activities, including dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including toileting, oral care, nail care, and catheter care.
  • Transport patients, turn bedridden patients, and report any changes in patient condition.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment, including cleaning rooms and changing bed linen.
  • Take and record temperature, pulse, and respiration rate, and administer medication as directed by a physician or nurse.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Certification as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide, if required by state licensure.
  • Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks, including sitting, standing, and walking for periods of time.

Salary Range: USD $13.00 - $14.00 / Hour
