Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Consulate Health Care. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the comfort and dignity of our residents.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards in the health and rehabilitation center. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility, while prioritizing the wellbeing and independence of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal needs, safety, and comfort.
  • Support with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Aid with daily tasks, such as laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
  • Remind residents of medication times.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status.
  • Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
  • Assist with dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean up.
  • Provide companionship and conversation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA certification course.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively to perform essential job duties.
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
  • Must complete our new hire orientation.
