Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans and schedules, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Safety and Quality Control: Ensure that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, and applicable building codes, and that high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Team Management: Oversee and manage a team of field staff, contractors, and tradespeople, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate clearly with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to ensure that project requirements are met.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identify and analyze scheduling issues and delays, and develop solutions to mitigate their impact on the project.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Telecommunications Superintendent or in a similar direct supervisory role.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of current construction practices, construction documents, costs, and budgets; ability to plan and manage a project schedule; strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management or engineering.
