Join Our Team as an IT Project Manager

At Tempur Sealy, we're committed to delivering exceptional sleep solutions to our customers. As an IT Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve this goal by overseeing key corporate business and IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project objectives and ensure alignment with our enterprise business and IT strategies.
  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control, and close enterprise-level projects and sub-projects using our standard project management methodologies.
  • Inform management on project objectives and progress, escalating issues for prompt remediation.
  • Ensure clear processes and procedures are defined and executed during the life of the project or program.
  • Enable crisp communication using standard tools and reporting rhythms.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including business and IT resources across multiple functional areas in a matrixed organization.
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project/program.
  • Facilitate and coordinate test plans, training plans, and organizational change management initiatives.
  • Oversee external vendor relationships where necessary.
  • Facilitate reengineering business processes, modifications to organizational roles and responsibilities, and replacing legacy technologies as appropriate.
  • Manage business and technology resources responsible for the implementation, including data quality efforts for master data.
  • Serve as a stakeholder advocate and ensure balanced decisions are made throughout the project that consider return on investment, risk mitigation, data integrity, employee satisfaction, and sustainability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Microsoft Project, Teams, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and Visio.
  • Proven experience managing and overseeing enterprise-wide projects and sub-projects.
  • Ability to closely manage project schedules, budgets, scope, and resources.
  • Adept in industry-standard project management methodologies and adheres firmly to standard processes.
  • Previous successful ERP implementation experience or support of an ERP implementation desired; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
  • Superb communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms and foster collaboration among team members and business stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, presentation skills, and ability to effectively and efficiently lead meetings for all levels of stakeholders.
  • Adept at situational leadership.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to describe the big picture and details alike.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan ahead and forecast activities, days, weeks, and months in advance.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and proactively solve problems.
  • Expert in process definition and process improvement initiatives.
  • Understanding of current industry trends and general business knowledge.
  • General proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
