KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Shipping and Receiving Administrator plays a vital role in supporting administrative, service, and sales functions, alongside warehouse operations in shipping and receiving. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting over 50 lbs and remain active throughout the day.

  • Facilitate professional and courteous interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Receive and process equipment, ensuring proper tracking and management for repairs.
  • Handle incoming calls, take messages, and greet customers, vendors, and associates.
  • Document and manage daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all outbound documentation is accurate.
  • Verify serial and product numbers for all shipments against packing slips.
  • Monitor stock activity reports and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks in accordance with company policies and deadlines.
  • Order necessary parts and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Ensure equipment is either ordered or located within inventory.
  • Process warranty repairs with a thorough understanding of product coverage.
  • Prepare meeting rooms as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment, including the shipping area.
  • Distribute inter-office mail and ensure outgoing mail is dispatched daily.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in inventory management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Must be capable of lifting over 50 lbs.
