KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Shipping and Receiving Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting administrative functions, service, and sales, alongside warehouse operations related to shipping and receiving. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift over 50 lbs and remain active throughout the day.

  • Maintain professional, friendly, and positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Receive and track equipment, ensuring proper procedures are followed for repairs.
  • Manage incoming calls, take messages, and greet customers, vendors, and associates.
  • Document daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all outbound documentation is accurate.
  • Verify serial and product numbers on all shipments and packing slips.
  • Monitor stock activity reports and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and verify monthly inventory in accordance with company policies and deadlines.
  • Order parts and manage stock levels effectively.
  • Ensure equipment is ordered or sourced from inventory as needed.
  • Process warranty repairs, demonstrating knowledge of product coverage.
  • Set up meeting rooms as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and client-ready office environment, including the shipping area.
  • Distribute inter-office mail and ensure outgoing mail is dispatched daily.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in inventory management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical.
  • Physical capability to lift over 50 lbs is necessary.
