Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Engineer II, you will:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and apply your technical expertise throughout various phases of the Project Life Cycle, including Requirements Gathering, Application Architecture definition, and Design.
  • Ensure the Order Management System (OMS) is architected using best practices to support scalability and reliability for our expanding global eCommerce operations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the OMS development team.
  • Design scalable and adaptable solutions that align with digital platform requirements, effectively communicating between IT and Business Leadership.
  • Analyze business needs, lead design sessions, and conduct code reviews for extensions and customizations of the Sterling OMS development framework.
  • Develop, implement, and tailor IBM Sterling Commerce Distributed Order Management and Inventory Visibility solutions.
  • Create Java-based extensions for Sterling OMS, utilizing Java/EE, XML, XSLT, and Oracle technologies.
  • Oversee services, DevOps, and delivery, while developing and implementing Java Spring Boot applications.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to enhance the capabilities of the Sterling OMS platform.
  • Monitor technical designs across various tracks and lead technical discussions.
  • Establish appropriate Monitoring & Alerting for the OMS and Order Services platform, ensuring optimal speed and uptime.
  • Provide technical guidance on Sterling Web Store and Sterling Web Call Center customizations, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Support production issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience in Information Technology.
  • Five (5) years of experience in developing, implementing, and customizing IBM Sterling Commerce Distributed Order Management and Inventory Visibility.
  • Four (4) years of experience in:
    • Developing applications using Java, Spring Boot, Servlets, or Java Web Services;
    • Creating RESTful APIs using JSON.

Workplace Arrangement:

This position is classified as Remote under our SSC Workplace Policy, allowing for work from home arrangements.


Compensation and Benefits:

Lululemon offers a competitive compensation package based on a pay-for-performance philosophy, recognizing exceptional individual and team contributions. The typical hiring range for this position is from $182,000 to $202,312 annually, with base pay varying based on market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
