Primary Responsibilities:

The Area Manager is accountable for overseeing all clinical operations within the designated area of the region. This role involves managing employee performance, staffing, and front office functions, including reception duties, mail distribution, large purchasing requests, inventory management, and facility oversight. The Area Manager will also coordinate office services and related activities, ensuring the efficient use of services and equipment. Compliance with policies and procedures, as well as UCA standards, must be maintained across all assigned clinics.

Key Duties:
  • Oversee clinic operations to meet quality metrics, control operational costs, and achieve budgeted EBITDA.
  • Ensure clinics are adequately staffed and operational during scheduled hours and special events.
  • Maintain equipment availability, safety, and cleanliness across all facilities.
  • Assist in the upkeep of physical plant, furnishings, and equipment, recommending capital expenditures as needed.
  • Ensure the aesthetic appeal of the clinic and landscape reflects the quality of care provided.
  • Resolve billing holds, financial refunds, and accounting discrepancies across multiple sites.
  • Monitor supply inventories, ensuring sufficient stock is maintained for each clinic.
  • Coordinate maintenance and vendor services for each assigned location.
  • Develop staff schedules, review timecards, and contribute to payroll calculations.
  • Provide front-end registration and clinical support as needed during high patient volumes or employee absences.
  • Select, train, supervise, and develop staff while monitoring their performance and productivity.
  • Ensure staff are well-trained and equipped to fulfill their roles effectively.
  • Enforce adherence to clinic policies and procedures, utilizing performance management when necessary.
  • Travel to other locations as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Training in HIPAA, bloodborne pathogens, COR, and emergency protocols.
  • Proficient in common computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email.
  • Exceptional customer service skills for addressing escalated issues.
  • Ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
