Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, and drive trains.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with heavy equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, minor and major repairs on hydraulics, electrical, ignition, transmission, drive trains, and pneumatic systems.
- Work with a team to achieve goals and support colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a self-starter and motivated to be successful, with opportunities for career growth and development.
- 1-3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment background.
- Experience with diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, as well as drive trains is required.
- Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods preferred.
- Must have the necessary tools to do the job.
