Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, and drive trains.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with heavy equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, minor and major repairs on hydraulics, electrical, ignition, transmission, drive trains, and pneumatic systems.
  • Work with a team to achieve goals and support colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be a self-starter and motivated to be successful, with opportunities for career growth and development.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment background.
  • Experience with diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, as well as drive trains is required.
  • Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods preferred.
  • Must have the necessary tools to do the job.
  • High quality control and a strong attention to detail.
