Job Description

You will be responsible for reviewing and implementing air quality policies, enforcing rules and regulations, and providing training and direction to staff. Your work will have a direct impact on the environment and the people of North Dakota.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $5,632 per month for an Environmental Engineer II, and $4,763 per month for an Environmental Engineer I. This is a competitive salary that reflects the importance of this role in protecting the environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in an engineering field
  • One year of related experience for an Environmental Engineer II, or no experience for an Environmental Engineer I
  • Ability to interpret and explain engineering and scientific concepts to stakeholders
  • Enforce rules objectively, consistently, and fairly
  • Experience with databases and spreadsheets
