Position Overview

The Lead Pre-Kindergarten Educator plays a crucial role in a collaborative environment, working alongside the Director of Children and Youth Development and Education, Group Leaders, Assistant Group Leaders, Aides, Cook, and administrative personnel.

This position is dedicated to ensuring the delivery of a high-quality educational program that meets the standards set by PA Pre-K Counts, NAEYC, and OCDEL for accreditation, specifically tailored for children aged 3 to 5 years.


Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and Pre-K to 4 certification from an accredited institution in early childhood education or child development.
    OR
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in early childhood education or child development, along with a documented plan to obtain ECE certification.
    PLUS
  • Completion of Act 33/34 clearances, fingerprinting, National Sex Offender Registry Clearance, and criminal background checks, as well as Mandated Reporter training.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position is $45,000.
