Key Responsibilities- Loan Document Review: Review completed loan documents for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Loan Reconciliation: Reconcile all undisbursed loans in process on a daily basis to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Loan Processing: Book and process all loans as requests are received, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Reporting and Compliance: Review and make necessary corrections to transaction and exception reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Insurance and Escrow Management: Maintain insurance policy records, collect proof of insurance, process insurance payments, and manage compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Escrow Account Oversight: Oversee all escrow accounts to ensure insurance and taxes are current, and make timely payments as necessary.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to branch personnel, vendors, and customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support and Back-up: Provide support and back-up assistance for other areas in Loan Operations as needed, ensuring seamless operation of the department.
- Special Projects: Assist with special projects as assigned, contributing to the growth and development of the loan processing department.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in loan accounting systems.
- Education and Experience: College degree in accounting, finance, or business, or 5 years of experience with loan documentation, with a minimum of one year experience in loan accounting systems.
