Job Summary:

The Mathematical Game Developer Lead will be responsible for creating mathematical models for our games, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and provide an engaging player experience. This role requires a deep understanding of probability theory, statistics, and game design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement mathematical models for various game types, including slot machines and table games.
  • Analyze game performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize game math models accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, artists, and engineers, to ensure seamless integration of mathematical models into the game development process.
  • Mentor junior developers in game mathematics and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, adapting game math models as needed to ensure compliance.
  • Provide documentation for certification labs and casinos, ensuring accurate representation of game mathematics.
  • Participate in game design and testing to ensure mathematical models align with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in game mathematics, with a strong background in probability theory, statistics, and game design principles.
  • Proficiency in C#, C++, or similar languages used to create math validation tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with ability to create and modify large and complex spreadsheets.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
