Federal Construction Project Manager: A Key Role in the Doyon Government Group
Doyon Government Group, a leading provider of domestic construction and information technology program support services to federal, state, and local government agencies, is seeking a highly skilled Federal Construction Project Manager to lead its construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in construction with at least 5 years as a superintendent and expertise in U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and/or Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) construction projects.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. As a Federal Contractor, we comply with the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA). About the Role
This critical role requires a leader who can oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. Key responsibilities include coordinating and supervising all site construction activities, directing field personnel to achieve project completion on schedule and within budget, maintaining daily contact with the project manager, and writing and maintaining construction schedules. This role also involves articulating timely requests for information, reviewing subcontractors' Schedules of Values for percentage complete and Pay Applications, and coordinating change order pricing from subcontractors related to contract modifications. Additional tasks include updating mandatory safety documentation as the project progresses and promoting job site safety while rectifying hazards immediately.
