About the Role

Doyon Government Group (DGG) seeks an experienced Construction Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee construction quality control programs nationwide for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) projects.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to quality standards across multiple projects simultaneously. Your expertise in creating and implementing quality control plans will be instrumental in maintaining our high level of quality and compliance with contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage project quality control plans to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Collaborate with project managers and corporate management to verify adherence to quality standards
  • Develop, review, and update project quality plans to maintain current compliance with contracts, established standards, methods, and specifications
  • Review and approve submittals, process RFI's, and ensure technical accuracy
  • Prepare daily activity reports as a detailed historical record of daily activities
  • Mentor quality control specialists and provide training on quality assurance processes
  • Promote a culture of quality excellence within the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years' quality control experience, preferably working on USACE and/or NAVFAC projects
  • Certified QC Specialist/Manager with demonstrated track record and references on federal construction projects
  • Proficiency in USACE Quality Control System (QCS) and/or Resident Management System (RMS)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
