Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled VIP Upholstery Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholstering custom interior items and assembling seating units for aircraft installation or modification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut and sew leather and/or fabric for recovering parts such as interior panels and seats.
  • Build seat shrouds, cut cushions, and apply upholstery to seats, tables, and other equipment in accordance with customer, engineering, and interior design specifications.
  • Sew, fabricate, and install covers for all styles of panels in the aircraft interior while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Interpret material specifications and design/engineering drawings to ensure finished products meet design and engineering requirements.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Perform documentation procedures and signoffs in accordance with Repair Station Quality Manual and respective task requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with the Lead Technician or Supervisor and deal with customers in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Current driver's license.
  • At least one year of experience in custom V/VVIP upholstery.
  • Minimum of 6 years in upholstery experience as a whole.
  • Proficient in oral and written English.
