Aircraft Cabinet Maker III

Citadel Completions LLC is seeking a skilled Aircraft Cabinet Maker III to join our team. This role involves fabricating and finishing aircraft cabinets and interior components using design and engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate aircraft furniture and other composite, honeycomb or wood-surfaced subassemblies using aircraft specifications, design and engineering drawings with a high level of safety, quality, detail and productivity.
- Assemble pins and glues cabinet shells. Install drawer-slides, hinges, latches and other hardware in sub-assemblies.
- Apply exterior surface materials such as laminates, veneers, and cap strips.
- Ensure the work area is kept to the highest standards of safety, compliant at all times, enforcing regulations and practices to avoid accidents.
- Perform the proper tagging of Aircraft components, parts and panels appropriately stored (including racks by aircraft).
- Perform documentation procedures and signoffs in accordance with Repair Station Quality Manual and respective task requirements.
- Ensure that tools and equipment are correctly used and handled for both safety and to reduce breakages, wear and tear.
- Strive for continuous process improvements and increasing efficiencies in execution and delivery with safety as a priority.
- Maintain close and frequent communication with the Lead Technician, notifying him/her of progress and any roadblocks or threats to task accomplishment that could impact re-delivery.
- Deal with customers in a cordial, respectful and professional manner.
- Ensure the highest quality service, safety standards and performance, with the objective of exceeding customer satisfaction in the re-delivery of airworthy, reliable and clean aircraft, in a timely manner.
- Take part in any required training as determined by the company.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experienced with table saw, band saw, and woodworking equipment.
- Proficient in reading blueprints.
- Perform work fabrication, finishing, woodwork etc. without guidance.
- Knowledge and experience with various types of materials.
- At least two years of commercial cabinet shop production or finish carpentry experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in oral and written English.
- Must report for assignment with personal set of standard trade-specific tools.
- 3+ years of experience in V/VVIP custom aircraft cabinet making.
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, structure repair manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.
- Advanced knowledge of Aircraft Finish and Paint application processes applicable to high end VIP aircraft completions such as clear coat and paint working with composite and Aluminum panels.
- Able to read, interpret and apply FAA approved or accepted data (i.e. IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM) proficiently.
- Proven ability to work alone and in a team environment.
- Effective decision-making skills.
- Dependability: personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accurately.
- Motivation: must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy.
- Organization: very detail oriented and always prepared.
The work is performed in an office environment, industrial shop, aircraft hangar, at the departure gate or on the aircraft parking ramp.
