We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at The Learning Experience. As an Infant Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Create a welcoming and engaging classroom space that promotes learning, play, and growth for young children.
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our proprietary curriculum, which serves as the framework for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Communication: Communicate with parents on a daily basis, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various channels, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement, ensuring the success of our center.
  • Child Safety: Ensure the safety and security of each child, adhering to our strict protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build strong relationships with families and coworkers, creating a dynamic environment that promotes play and learning.
  • Teaching Experience: At least 1 year of professional teaching experience, with a strong background in early childhood education.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required, with college-level ECE coursework highly preferred.
  • Developmental Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices, with a focus on creating engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certification preferred, with a commitment to meeting state-specific guidelines for the role.
Requirements
  • Availability: Minimum daily hours, as assigned, with a commitment to reporting to work all days that The Learning Experience is open.
  • Lesson Planning: Co-teach and share responsibilities of lesson plans, ensuring a cohesive and engaging learning experience for our children.
  • Portfolios: Maintain educational portfolios that showcase the progress and achievements of our students.
  • Relationship Building: Foster professional and meaningful relationships with parents/guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and achievements.
  • Team Meetings: Engage in regular team meetings with the Director, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
  • Curriculum: Follow our full-day curriculum schedule, which focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development.
  • Environment: Maintain a clean, neat, and tour-ready environment that reflects the high standards of our center.
Compensation

$20.00 per hour
