Maintenance Manager, Gas Plant Operations

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the efficient and reliable operation of our gas plant in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, while also driving maintenance excellence and optimizing plant performance.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise all maintenance functions to ensure efficient and reliable plant operation.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and plans to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and maintain a computerized maintenance management program, including routine, outage, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs.
- Assist in the selection of plant employees and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Coordinate and schedule mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance repair and preventative maintenance.
- Actively support compliance with all applicable provisions of federal and state labor laws, environmental regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Perform administrative activities necessary for effective department management, including employee safety, selection, and development, salary administration, budget administration, employee counseling, and motivation.
- Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of seven years of related power plant operations or maintenance experience.
- A minimum of three years of supervisor/management experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Ability to read and interpret written documents, including drawings, manuals, procedures, contracts, financial reports, safety rules, policies, and professional periodicals/journals.
- Ability to write routine reports, business correspondence, and manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and employees at all levels.
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 15.00% of salary.
