We are currently looking for a CNC Maintenance Technician to support our day shift operations, working full-time Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts based on workload demands.
Key Responsibilities:
As a CNC Repair and Maintenance Specialist, your duties will include:
1. Conducting routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment to reduce downtime and extend operational lifespan.
2. Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues with various CNC models, including Okuma, Mazak, Matsuura, and Fanuc.
3. Interpreting technical manuals and work orders to execute necessary maintenance tasks.
4. Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
5. Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, while planning for future service needs.
6. Assisting with the installation of new machinery and equipment as required.
7. Adhering to safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment.
8. Collaborating with engineering colleagues to enhance maintenance practices and protocols.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC maintenance, particularly with Okuma, Mazak, Matsuura, and Fanuc machinery.
2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation and schematics.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, especially under pressure.
4. Comprehensive mechanical and electrical knowledge, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
5. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
6. A commitment to following safety regulations and protocols.
7. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
8. Certification or specialized training in CNC maintenance or a related discipline is preferred.
